Operation 162: Week 3

Welp, not a great week for me and gained a pound. No excuses, I need to do better. I went over my calorie budget most days last week. This week, I won’t.

I am still dealing with a foot injury and can’t run, and it turns out it is harder to lose weight when you aren’t training for a marathon. I was supposed to run a half marathon this weekend but can’t, and that is disappointing. But I will redouble my efforts toward nutrition. I see a few places where I can make improvements, the most immediate is not keeping Cliff bars around. I have had a few too many of those, and they are calorically dense. Instead, I will keep fruit and yogurt around if I get a hankering for anything sweet.

I have an appointment with a podiatrist later in March. I’m hoping my foot heals before then and I don’t need it, but it’s good to have the appointment nonetheless. Unless, of course, we are under a coronavirus quarantine. But there’s nothing I can do about that for now.

As an aside, does anyone wish it was ’85 again?
